Web technology > Accessibility
Most jurisdictions now have legal requirement for websites to adhere to strict protocols of accessibility and usability standards as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Disability Discrimination Act.
In compliance with UK/EU/US law, all of Cyber-Duck's websites are accessible to disabled and visually impaired users. To ensure access to disabled users or people using older technologies, all of our interactive media productions and new technology websites are also coded using valid XHTML and CSS. This also ensures that a search engine friendly version is always available.
- Fully compliant with EU law
- Accessible to disabled users
- Meaningful XHTML & CSS code
- Testing on multiple platforms and browsers
- Advanced CSS controlled layouts
When we use flash or other non accessible technologies we strive to offer accessible alternates so all users/devices can access the content. We also vigorously test every site on multiple platforms and browsers as a standard part of our rigorous quality assurance, ensuring that poor access never results from technological incompatibility.
