Cyber-Duck are proud to be ranked the 20th top digital agency in the south east of England out of hundreds of competitors following the Wirehive100 Awards, an evening which celebrated the best digital work in 2012. Cyber-Duck were among a whole host of digital agencies from the South East of England who all congregated for an incredible awards evening.
The judging criteria was financial growth over the last 3 years with independent judges from other UK agencies with the event concept being led by Spencer Gallagher, ex CEO of Bluhalo and founder of Cact.us. This accolade tops a highly fruitful fortnight, with Cyber-Duck also picking up 2 Web Awards and 4 W3 Awards.
Cyber-Duck were also finalists and within the top 4 for best Website of the year for the SaaS project RetireEasy and also a finalist within best mobile app category for the Eurostar HTML5 mobile app for Dawson Media Direct. The WireHive100 Awards were held in the glitz and glamour of Mercedez World in Weybridge, Surrey and was hosted by comedian Russel Kane, who had the audience in rip-roaring laughter between awards.
Cyber-Duck’s Managing Director Danny Bluestone was delighted to make the Top 20, saying, “This is great news for the team as Cyber-Duck has grown organically over the last 7 years with no external investment – our financial strength is continuing to grow due to the fact that we are specialist UX/SaaS digital agency that has the best processes and people in the industry”. Cyber-Duck lived up to their reputation as being an Award Winning Digital Agency, picking up 4 W3 Awards this week. Of the 4 prizes, Cyber-Duck were awarded 1 Gold Award and 3 Silver Awards for outstanding website projects completed in the last year. In fact, Cyber-Duck were one of just 9 UK based agencies to pick up a Gold Award this year.
Cyber-Duck received the highest accolade for the design and creation of the London Cardiovascular Clinic (LCC) website. The London Cardiovascular Clinic is a leading London based private cardiologist and heart screening practice, who serve a variety of international patients at their London practice.
The website won Gold in the Healthcare Services of the General Website Categories due to its fully responsive features, meaning that the website provides an optimal viewing experience, whether viewed on desktop, tablet or mobile devices. The website also runs off a customised CMS (Content Management System) which empowers the LCC team to update the website as and when they please.
Liberty Wealth Management – Liberty Wealth provide private wealth management services in Geneva for English speaking expatriates residing in Switzerland, specialising in QROPS and SIPPS pension transfers. The website scooped two silver awards, one in the Mobile Websites Category and the other in the Financial Services in General Websites Category.
EGS provide complete governor overhaul services which include repairing and testing governing equipment for engines and turbines. The website also scooped a silver award in the Manufacturing in the General Websites Category, helping Cyber-Duck to complete what has been a very successful day at the office.
And last but by no means least, Cyber-Duck have been awarded the Web Awards for their work on the London Cardiovascular Clinic and EGS websites. The London Cardiovascular Clinic won a 2012 WebAward in the Best Health Care website category and absolutely stormed past that of their competition.
The judges were delighted with the website, and were particular impressed with the websites adaptive features. The judges also rewarded the website for its clean and tidy layout, before declaring it was “One of the best (websites) I have ever seen and judged!"
Cyber-Duck were also rewarded for their hard work on the EGS website. The EGS website picked up the award in the outstanding website category with the judges stating: "Kudos for such a simple and clean site with the right amount of graphics to add visual interest. Nice visual timeline on the history page. Great photos on the team page, not the usual portrait, but taken at interesting angles."
Understandably all the Cyber-Duck team members were delighted with the latest awards, and the directors wanted to pay special thanks to all the staff members who worked on the project, as well as the clients who were continually involved throughout the entirety of both projects.
