Christmas is nearly upon us and snow is falling so welcome to a (sort of) festive edition of the Cyber-Duck weekly.
Cyber-Duck won RetireEasy as a brand new SaaS client. The company aims to enable people to take control of their retirement lifestyle. Cyber-Duck will be providing full digital agency services from branding and UX design right through to building the SaaS platform. The Cyber-Duck Christmas party took place in Covent Garden on Thursday night. Thai food and a few drinks after work were enjoyed by all, not to mention some weird and wonderful dance moves.
Mark Zuckerberg was voted “person of the year” in TIME magazine. He was closely followed by The Tea Party, Julian Assange, Hamid Karzai and the Chilean miners for the honour. A film crew from AutoDesk came to film some interviews and shots of the office about our use of their 3DS Max software. Hopefully the footage will be available for us to show you soon!
We (and many others) received a personalised thank you message from Google which cleverly spells out the name of clients in various ways, including a projection on the moon. Although not especially relevant to the world of web technology, the ducks were excited to learn that Voyager 1 came closer to exiting our solar system into an unknown world this week, after completing its extensive exploration of the planets and moons in our solar system.
