We completed our 2010 Christmas eCard and sent it out to all our clients and partners. The eCard captures a year in the world of Cyber-Duck, and gives you the ability to view and listen to all the ducks wishing you a Merry Christmas.
Construction specialists BAM have this week commissioned Cyber-Duck to develop an online automated tool that will enable them to launch and manage microsites for their individual projects. The project continues our long working relationship with BAM which began in 2008 when we developed their main website.
We are excited to announce that we won a new project for a house-hold name, we cannot say much now, but details will be coming so stay tuned in the New Year to find out more!
There was outrage among Skype users as the popular internet phone service blacked out earlier this week. Users ranging from Europe, Japan and the US all encountered the problem, with Skype losing around 10 million calls because of the debacle. Skype have since apologised for the inconvenience to its users.
Sky launched an iPad version of its Sky Remote+ app, bringing features from its iPhone app, to the popular tablet. The new app lets you select programmes you want to record, without the use of the traditional remote control, as well as providing visually rich discovery experience, and TV recommendations.
Facebook have redesigned their news feed filtering system. Previously, users could choose between Top News or Most Recent News, but this has been converted into a drop-down menu which allows you filter stories based on Games, Status Updates, Photos, Links and Pages. You can also choose to see only stories from a specific group of yours.
