Cyber-Duck is hiring a B2B Marketing Director to lead our expanding marketing team, and work closely alongside our new business and client services teams.

You will be responsible for the marketing strategy and oversee it’s execution - raising awareness of Cyber-Duck, establishing credibility and generating qualified leads across our target services and verticals.

As a seasoned Marketing Director, you will be an exceptional communicator and experienced at building strong relationships with stakeholders of all seniority levels right across our agency, including:

  • Galvanising the marketing team around key priorities and campaigns;
  • Collaborating with our new business team on building our sales pipeline;
  • Working with client services to build upon our excellent relationships with our clients and identify opportunities with them;
  • Reporting progress, successes, and challenges with the senior management team;
  • Ultimately, being the bridge that aligns marketing with the wider business.

Key duties

The Marketing Director will be responsible for delivering:

  • Marketing strategy and campaign plans - Supporting the team with executing the existing marketing strategy, as well as developing our future marketing strategy.
  • Team leadership and development - Providing guidance and leadership to support the team towards successfully achieving marketing goals, and identifying opportunities to grow and develop the existing team.
  • Reporting progress against KPIs - Working with our CFO to ensure excellent visibility across the business of marketing performance, and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Marketing and new business alignment - Helping to bring the marketing and new business teams closer together, and through good communication loops, feed insights back into marketing plans.
  • Stakeholder management - Ensuring the marketing strategy aligns with the business strategy, and providing clarity regarding marketing objectives and priorities across the business.
  • Identifying and qualifying marketing opportunities - Working with our CEO and wider team members to identify and qualify any ideas of opportunities for lead generation or brand awareness.

The Marketing Director will also be responsible for overseeing:

  • Managing our key marketing channels, such as our own website as well as key partners to maximise our visibility.
  • Campaign planning to achieve the following:
    • Generating qualified leads through activities such as events, webinars, email, paid search & social.
    • Raising our brand awareness through activities such as content marketing and PR.
  • Account based marketing and sales enablement.
    Optimising the performance of our website and content through SEO and CRO.
  • Lead nurturing - Convert MQLs into SQLs, though automated communications and providing support to the sales team by optimising each part of the sales funnel.

Experience and skills

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in B2B Marketing leadership, in Digital or Tech sectors. Agency experience is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of qualified lead generation.
  • Experience overseeing channel optimisation, such as SEO, CRO, Partner Marketing, Paid Search, and Social.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation (and MarTech tools).
  • Excellent and charismatic communicator with the ability galvanise teams behind a vision and confidently manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience supporting, empowering, and growing successful marketing teams that deliver against business objectives.
  • A commercially minded, results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Management

You will work alongside our Chief Growth Officer, and report to our Chief Commercial Officer who will provide support and guidance.

Location

This is a hybrid role, that requires 2 days per week in our Elstree, Hertfordshire office. We also offer flexible working arrangements to support a positive work/life balance.
