Cristina Viganò

Senior UX Designer at Cyber-Duck Ltd

Cristina enjoys applying her strong background in cognitive science across our design process: from initial research, to creating and testing interactive prototypes.

Cristina Viganò

Cristina joined Cyber-Duck after indulging her passion for academic research. She was awarded an MA (Hons) in Cognitive Science and Experimental Psychology from the University of Padua, and completed her first BA (Hons) degree in the Science and Techniques of Psychology with the University of Milan.

Drawing on her fascination with the human mind, usability and human-computer interaction (HCI), Cristina ensures our projects achieve the best experience for users across contexts: from websites and apps, to multi-touch walls. Fascinated by design trends, Cristina enjoys blogging:  she has shared best practice for usability testing, and collated intriguing ideas from the Talk UX conference.

In 2015, Cristina joined the Pint of Science festival, explaining persuasive technology: how digital products alter our decision-making processes. She enjoyed leading our BIMA D-Day community schemes, growing the next generation of designers. This year, she is excited to fly out to Austin, Texas, joining SXSWi's renowned speaker roster. Her talk 'Dark Times for Dark Patterns: Ethical Alternatives' was voted for by the community, selected through the competitive PanelPicker.

Cristina enjoys leading creative workshops, applying our user-centred design process.

In her free time, Cristina loves to explore different cultures, cities and hike through the mountains! She's just as creative in the kitchen, inventing new recipes to share in the office.
