Danny established Cyber-Duck in 2005. He was originally inspired by blending design, usability and technology to achieve the best user experience for companies.  As an independent agency, our rapid growth is driven by his entrepreneurial vision, values and ethos. He wanted to capture and deliver a variety of disciplines under one roof: from digital transformation, branding and marketing, to user-centred design and web technologies.

With an adaptable operating model, Danny ensures Cyber-Duck scales with our clients, underpinned by a creative R&D competitive differentiation. In 2015, he was crowned the Digital Leader of the Year with the Wirehive 100 Awards, commending Southern agencies. His leadership abilities were further recognised as a finalist for the Smith & Williamson Entrepreneur of the Year, with Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. 

Under Danny’s guidance, our ISO accredited user-centred design process assures consistent high-quality delivery, with projects managed through Lean and Agile principles. His team discovers solutions to the most challenging briefs, including the Bank of England, Mitsubishi Electric and Cancer Research. 

As a strong advocate of certification, Danny developed our ISO-accredited user centred design process; his ambition led our recognition on Deloitte's Fast 500 EMEA.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Alongside leadership and refining Cyber-Duck’s accredited user-centred design process, Danny acts as a growth strategist, digital producer and counsel for clients. Feedback indicates he challenges the traditional ‘gap’ between strategy and execution for the most complex, cross-channel projects. 

Out of the office, Danny enjoys sharing his expertise through digital keynotes, given to marketing, enterprise, UX and technology communities. He has explained our unique take on lean and agile processes and omnichannel strategy with the UKTI, UX London and UXPA. He’s written features for a variety of digital publications, including The Kernel, Econsultancy, UX, Web Designer and Smashing Magazine.

Danny is equally passionate about our involvement in community and charity programmes. With Young Rewired State, Kano and Code Club, his staff encourage teenagers and children to see beyond the screen: understanding how to make computers work, bringing their ideas to life through design and code. Under his guidance, our agency dedicates quality time to charities, supporting SIDS research with Teddy’s Wish and humanitarian aid with Goods4Good.

 

Alongside leading Cyber-Duck, Danny provides strategic counsel with a hands-on approach; helping key clients leverage best-in-class digital practice to maximise their business.

Interests

Danny is an avid behavioural economist bookworm, inspired by Anna Abramowski, his Psychologist wife. As a big electronic, dub, 80s and hip-hop fan, Danny is a hobbyist DJ, alongside his superstar brother Ilan Bluestone. He also loves running (working on the 5km distance) and making shakshukas, in no particular order!
