Fundamental to our work is our lean and test driven development (TDD) process, enabling a rapid and flexible delivery that has quality assurance (QA) built in from the beginning. Characterised by goal prioritisation and iterative sprints, this collaborative approach can yield far better results than traditional methods. Our certified Scrum Masters ensure we build solutions to last, not just to get by.
Products and Technologies
Cyber-Duck has extensive experience in developing everything from websites and apps to APIs, full-blown software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, CRM systems and back-end systems that streamline internal processes. Everything we develop is flexible and resilient, engineered to support high traffic and changing needs.

With so many digital products and services vying for consumers' time and attention, you need an app that is a joy to use. At Cyber-Duck, we excel at creating apps that are intuitive, elegant and engaging. Our mobile app development team can create native Android and iOS applications, or cross-platform web apps – whichever is best suited for the product.
Eurostar Business Premier travellers can enjoy complimentary magazines and newspapers on their journey, thanks to the cross-platform web application that we built for Dawson Media Direct.
From the outset, our quality assurance (QA) analysts define a unique testing approach for each project. Our test driven development approach includes both automated testing, using software such as Selenium, and manual testing during the entire production life cycle. We manage all changes and issues as they arise via JIRA, a leading issue-tracking software.
Quality is key, which is why Cyber-Duck’s ISO-accredited user-centred design process and test driven development (TDD) approach is at the heart of everything we develop.
Workshops and Training
Unlike other agencies, we don’t foster dependence; we enable our clients to take full control of the products and solutions we develop for them. Our workshops and training facilitate a smooth handover and cover how to use a system, how to update or change it, or full training on the coding languages used to create a system.
Cyber-Duck has a proven track record in developing award-winning websites, apps and products, including Best Use of Tech at the Wirehive 100 Awards.
Meet our expert developers
Our team of talented in-house developers are expertly trained in agile and web application development. They collaborate to consult and develop optimal solutions for each project – with no corners cut.
Our developers created Hoisin.scss, one of the world’s first Sass mini frameworks, and are in the process of developing a responsive table library. We also created PHP composer packages and AngularJS modules that provide pre-built functionality for other developers. For the Mozilla Festival, we made robots emulate animal behaviour using NodeJS. Other contributions to the community include packages for Laravel and Silverstripe. Our team have spoken at SXSW and Front-end London, demonstrating their thought leadership. All these examples are open source and available on GitHub.
Senior Front-End Developer, Ramon reveals the truth behind the myths surrounding CSS pre-processors at SXSWi 2014 in Austin, Tx. Our developers enjoy contributing to the digital community, speaking at prestigious events and releasing open source technologies.
