This week marks the end of our stay in our Borehamwood Offices, thanks Devonshire House, It’s been emotional. After much anticipation, the time has finally come for the Ducks to migrate to a new pond in Elstree. This week has been big for Google with a variety of new features and we’re going to work our way through and show you all of them. The biggest news to come out of Google this week is the beta version of their new social networking website Google+. Google+ will go in direct competition with many social networking websites, a market which is dominated by Facebook. The new website allows users to share photos, messages and comments, integrates Google Maps and images and helps users organise and share information with contacts in specific groups.
The duck offices are a little quieter today as some of the team set sail for sunny Texas to attend the much anticipated SXSWi event. So after a long and exciting wait, the ducks have finally began their journey to the SXSWi event in Austin, Texas as part of the UKTI digital mission this year. Cyber-Duck will be in the presence of brands including Google and Facebook and we have also taken our popular Tobii Eye Tracker to showcase to all attendees of the event.
