Your PALZ agency partner

For over five years, we've worked with policing clients like The College of Policing on legacy Gov.uk Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments. Due to the decommission of PaaS in 2023, we've been supporting police forces and The College of Policing by working with new secure landing zones for data and content. CACI is experienced in creating Secure Assured Landing Zones and meeting the standards set out by Police Digital Services (PDS) and Government Digital Services (GDS). We also adhere to the various standards set-out by National Assurance and the Police-Assured Secure Facilities (PASF) standards.

Our team of strategists, designers and developers also deliver the applications and content. Read more about our wider services on The College of Policing case study.

PALZ Strategy and Setup

We can help police forces to identify the right AWS landing zone solution for them. We help them navigate the complexities of cloud setup and migration and ensure that data, platforms and systems are set up correctly, while dealing with the intricacies of swapping, archiving and deploying live assets.

Our team will also deal with any APIs, secure protocols and conformity to National Assurance, Police Digital Services, GDS, NCSC guidance and Self Assurance. Supporting each policing client with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) ahead of deployment.

Ongoing PALZ Support

Ongoing support of Police Assured Landing Zones (PALZ) can be provided through a second to none Service Level Agreement (SLA) and a dedicated team ready 24/7 to monitor the AWS services, as well as the applications and sites to ensure the service is run optimally.

This is on top of system and software upgrades and ongoing DevOps to facilitate scalability and effective continuous integration and continuous delivery/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to make frequent, reliable incremental code changes. Part of our service also entails best in class threat monitoring, pen-testing and red-teaming to ensure robust security.
