Our marketing team took to the water on Thursday with a trip on the HMS President for the latest Online Marketing Network meetup event. There were some big name speakers showing how various online marketing disciplines could be applied using real life examples. Chelsea Blacker spoke about the effects of tv advertising on search traffic, James Carson from Bauer Media gave a highly entertaining talk on the use of video content to achieve online goals, whilst Rich Kirk of Performics London gave a ‘both sides of the coin’ view on the use of social media links in improving seo rankings. In addition James Sutton, organiser of a new online charity aiming to save the rainforest and Richard Shove, an SEO specialist also spoke. It was a great evening and even without the free bar it was a very worthwhile event.
