Cyber-Duck attended the Construction Marketing Awards with members of the team from both OAG and Optima Systems on Thursday evening.
They walked away with the “Best Use of a Website” award for OAG. This is an achievement we are all incredibly proud of - well done to those involved including Matt Gibson, Rajkumar Remanan and Lee Hsueh-Chia.
We were commissioned to produce a brand new website for Greenworks Energy, who have been our client since 2007. The new site will include some more advanced functionality including a green solutions builder and an updated user friendly navigation system.
We’re due to exhibit at UK Trade and Investment’s “Technology World” exhibition at the ExCeL centre in London from Tuesday 7th to Wednesday 8th. We will be demonstrating our in-house eye tracking technology, so if you want to come and visit us, we’ll be at stand no. 81.
A new project win too, with “Fresh Graduate” commissioning Cyber-Duck for their SaaS project. The aim of the website is to match graduate programs to students based on their requirements and grades.
BT are trialling gigabit fibre optic broadband in Suffolk, after the news that less than 1% of UK homes have a “super-fast” Internet connection. The trial is due to begin early next year and use a FTTH (Fibre-to-the-home) system like BT.
Wiki-leaks has been forced to change its domain name this week after the company providing their domain name cut off the service. The cut-off was due to Wiki-leaks continually getting targeted by cyber-attacks.
The BBC are due to offer a paid for application version of their popular iPlayer service. It will be available worldwide on a subscription basis in order to generate extra revenue for programming.
