Adam Carroll

Assuring Quality

As our QA Assistant, Adam works alongside our QA Analyst and helps to keep track of any issues or bugs that appear across our projects. Working closely with developers, he debugs and resolves problems as they arise in an efficient and timely manner.

After completing a Bsc (Hons) in Entertainment Systems at the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland, Adam worked abroad for 12 months in the Netherlands gaining experience working at a large, multi-cultural software company. He gained experience working in a small team of developers, helping to maintain a software test automation suite used to catch issues using weekly regression runs.

As Adam’s degree included different creative, digital areas such as game design, he looked to move towards a more user-focused company. With a keen interest in not only the technical side of things but also the aesthetic and usability of products, Cyber-Duck was the perfect next step.

Adam enjoys supporting our Digital Pond event series, recently learning about 'Designing for the Mind' with speakers from SXSW 2016.

Passionate about technology, Adam jumped at the chance to use an early virtual reality headset. He created a video game for his final college project! Adam also enjoys playing football, and hopes the 6-a-side league can get more silverware for the Cyber-Duck trophy cabinet.
