Clément Blanco

Technical Knowledge

Clem has diverse technical expertise across a range of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, and CodeIgniter) and front-end HTML, CSS and Sass. Alongside client work, he enjoys building many of our creative R&D projects. He developed UX Companion in July 2014, the first app to offer a full glossary of user experience (UX) terminology; since launch, the app has secured over 20,000 downloads in 97 countries.

Most notably, his team was crowned as winners of the Barclays Hackathon at unBound London in 2015. Challenged to ideate and create products that could shape the future of FinTech less than two days, Clem and Benjamin built the 'Barclays Piggy': a functional digital update for the traditional children's piggy bank, along the concept of the Internet of Things.

Passionate about development, Clem originally studied for an MSC at SUPINFO International University for five years, dividing his study between campuses in Mâcon, London and Lyon. He first joined Cyber-Duck for an internship while studying in London, returning to us as a full-time developer after graduating and gaining further experience working in Lyon.

Clem managed the development of UX Companion, our popular glossary app that won the 'Best Mobile Campaign' at the 2015 UK Agency Awards.

In his free time, Clem follows a variety of sports, and has a passion for riding motorbikes.
