We win our very first British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) award as Matt Gibson claims the student prize for his innovative online comic, Dead on Arrival.

Cyber-Duck expands its user-centred design proposition. We invest in eye-tracking technology to deepen our understanding of what users do and think.

2010
We show the EU ‘what’s in it for me?’, feature on the BBC and develop the first iPad WebApp. Matt Gibson and Sylvain Reiter joined the board.

2011
We settle in our Elstree home, win a Webby Award and host our very first Digital Pond; now we have 3k members and explore topics like UX, content strategy and GDPR.
2012


2012
Our UX process is certified by ISO 9241; we defy the recession and feature in
the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.
We launch Symble.




2013
Our annual R&D hackathon weekends begin. At our Quack Hack, we invent and develop five apps, including the winning team’s AR medication instructions.
2014


2015
We celebrate our tenth birthday with a workshop for the BBC, the publication of our UX Handbook, our first London office and a rebrand. Gareth Drew and Siji Onabanjo join the board.

2016
Together with the Bank of England, we launch the new polymer £5 note featuring Winston Churchill; this leads to a further website for the new £10 note and a site redesign for the bank itself.

We launch UX Companion, the award-winning iOS, Android and Alexa app that’s helped 50,000 UX designers understand their craft; GDPR steals Christmas.
2018


2018
Econsultancy endorses Cyber-Duck as ‘Ones to Watch’ from analysing our positioning, passion and client roster; Justin Cooke joins the board.
2019


2019
We have a bumper year, with 19 awards across UXUK, Wirehive 100, UK Agency, BIMA Hot 100, Emerging Payments and more; Lina Tiareh joins the board.

As COVID-19 strikes, we help our clients shift to working with us remotely. We continue to grow through the pandemic, embrace Drupal 9 – and our work with Sport England shows how it’s done.
